We do not believe that we should only be involved with our clients when incidents that require investigation arise. Significant value can be added by being the trusted advisors to our clients on any matters having a bearing on forensic audit and investigations.
These may include matters such as:
- Giving inputs to the development of fraud hotlines
- Advising the clients on fraud hotline reports, i.e whether allegations need investigation or not
- Advising on internal structures to deal with fraud and related risks
- Advising of appropriate action where incidents have occurred or are suspected
- Assess findings of internal audit and other reports which may highlight risks of fraud and/or irregularities and advise on this
